Is Payer better than existing platforms?

Payer

Payer is not a platform that is better than centralized analogues in every aspect. It has both advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantages include:

Payer operates slower than centralized analogues due to the fact that user actions are transactions on the blockchain, which require time to be confirmed (the average time for a complete transaction confirmation on the Solana network is 30–40 seconds).

Lack of KYC. This can be considered both a plus and a minus. Some users do not want to go through KYC for various reasons, and the absence of it is a plus for them. On the other hand, there is an increased risk of receiving so-called ‘dirty transfers’ (funds obtained by illegal means). It is worth noting that even centralized analogues with KYC have not solved this problem. Users can easily change the requisites to those that do not belong to them
